If you have a leased car to turn in, I will guide you through that part of the process. If the turn-in is not properly handled, you could find an unexpected bill in your mailbox a few months down the road.

Most additional charges from the lessor (leasing company) will be due to damage in excess of normal wear and tear: broken or cracked glass (which may be repairable free-of-charge by your insurance company), damaged trim (inside or out) and any other significant types of damage and/or excessive wear.

The car or truck must be properly inspected by the lessor's agent (usually the dealership where the vehicle was originally purchased). You should be present at this event so that you and the inspector can agree to the car's condition, and sign the appropriate paperwork.

I will make sure that you have the information necessary to handle this part of the process accurately.
